About the Album
Zerfall represents a deep, meditative exploration of ambient and drone aesthetics. With a focus on evolving atmospheres and immersive sound design, the album stands as a testament to 59 Perlen’s ability to craft hypnotic sonic landscapes without the use of a traditional DAW. Mastered by the artist himself, Zerfall preserves the authenticity of the live performance while enhancing its sonic depth.
The five tracks of Zerfall were recorded and performend live on February 22, 2025, during a special event called The Synth Club in Zurich. The album focusses on the Soma Lyra-8 synthesizer and encapsulates its raw energy and evolving soundscapes of a fully dawless setup, emphasizing real-time composition and organic sonic texture creation.
