- New Minimalhouse Synthjam on Elektron Digitakt
It's finally Saturday and time for a brandnew Digitakt Jam. After we left last week out due to the premiere of "Walking", a contemporary dance video I created a score for, it's finally time for a good new classic Digitakt Jam again and here we go. The track features a sample taken from my free pack "Citylights". Learn how to make your own minimal music with the Digitakt! Have a look on my Digitakt Online Class! It's a video course focussed on creating tracks with the Digitakt. It covers LFOs, Arrangement, Performing, Digitakt FX and many other interesting topics!
- Differences between Elektron Digitakt and Model:Samples
After I expanded my setup some time ago with an Elektron Model:Samples, I was often asked why I bought , I have summarized a few important aspects in this article that you should consider when buying an Elektron No Elektron Overbridge support Unlike the Digitakt, the Model:Samples does not support Overbridge. You get the same great Elektron workflow with its powerful sequencer, which also allows complex arrangements
- "Moods", the Elektron performance that made my flat a club
Major roles have been taken by Elektron Digitakt, Digitone and Squarp Pyramid as the main brain behind
- Dawless House Jam with Elektron Digitakt
Welcome to this weeks Digitakt Jam! The track is a little special as I added some Middle East Voice samples after I recorded the performance. These samples are so nice - I really love the collection of swells and vocal phrases. I strongly recommend to listen to this Jam with headphones to fully hear the bassline and low frequencies. And don't forget the next Jam will be something super special - I will present the Garagen Release Event on my and Atlas Castle's YouTube Channels! You don't wanna miss it, we kick off this Sunday 31st, 9pm CET on my YouTube!
- Minimal House Synthjam with Elektron Digitakt

- The perfect stand for Elektron Digitakt performances
So I had the hilarious idea of using the monitor stand for the Elektron machine and it is awesome!
- Minimalhouse on Elektron Digitakt, Digitone and Novation Peak
Happy Easter guys! This week I'm a little late with my Jam but I still hope you gonna like it. This arrangement was meant to be a demonstration of a new sample pack I'm currently working on, with an idea of a very reduced Micro Set. But once again it ended in something completely different ... the gear really seduces me. Not sure what do think about, maybe you can tell me. For this session, I used the #Digitakt, #Digitone, #ModelSamples and the #NovationPeak, I think you can clearly hear the part of the Peak :) For my next Jams, I will fully go for the Digitakt again and create something very different. Btw. I titled the track "Resonance". The samples I wanted to try out were made using resonances, but well I don't use them but I didn't change the name of the track LOL. More on this soon. - Minimal House Track performed on the Elektron Digitakt
For my latest Saturday Night Dawless Digitakt performance - right before my new Album "When Left Alone" releases - I wanted to try something visually new! Since a few days I have a lot more space in my room as before and can now quickly set up my green screen to perform. Do you think this is good or was the old top view recording better for understanding what I do? Let me know :) Speaking of the track which I titled "Second Take", I wanted to go a little back to last years "Blackbox Session" style that I like a lot. The pattern uses of a lot of crackle, hiss and other weird noise to model the snares, hats and grooves instead of using realistic samples. Furthermore, you'll hear a melodic synth arp that plays in a different time signature than the rest of the track. This results in interesting polyrythms. Per Digitakt "Fill" function I programmed a break that I throw in every now and then.
- Dub House Synthjam on Elektron Digitakt only
Some days ago, I got asked to join a beta test of a brand new sound pack for Digitakt (Update Jan 27: The Pack is now officially on sale, "Berlin Dreams" - get it here). Of course I couldn't resist and here we go. This time, I focussed only on using the Digitakt and once more I made extensive use of the Loopback features - I think I'm using 6 midi tracks to modulate a couple of global and track specific parameters. To learn more about the amazing Digitakt Loopback feature, watch my YouTube Tutorial.
- Timestretching /w Elektron Digitakt - new lecture for video class
Just before the end of the year, I added new exclusive content for all students in my Digitakt Online Course! This lesson is the first of several videos on the topic of "timestretching" and explains the basic technique with which you can change the speed of loops on the Digitakt and thus also create great textures and deep sound design. I'm sure you gonna love it. This is the third extension of the course and available to all enrolled students for free. At the end of October there was already a new lesson about the design of basslines and the next exclusive lesson is already waiting in the wings.
