Some days ago, I posted a video about my creation process of making textures and drone sounds on the Digitakt. The sounds in this tutorial have been created "on the fly" and I got some really cool results which are the base of this Jam. I added a Digitone which is running through the Big Sky Reverb, adding a sweet layer of ambience to the groove. Let me know what you think in the comments!

This is my second jam with the Elektron Analog Rytm MKII while still in the beautiful nature of the Swiss Cantone of Valais. And it might not be the last one ;) While the first jam has been a pretty chilly one, I wanted to speed up a bit and went for a 115 bpm track. The focus was clearly on using the AR performance pads a bit deeper and get a better feeling on how to utilize and integrate them into my play. I also loved how I can layer samples and the analog sounds of the different AR engines and mute / unmute these layers to get a way more complex setting. I'm really pleased! Welcome to this weeks Dawless Hardware Jam, a sweet melodic house track.

This was a fun jam, completely performed on the Vermona PerFourMer Analog Synthesizer. In case you don’t know the PerFourMer, it’s an analog machine that gives you 4 identical synthesizer strips that you can play in parallel or in different alternations. There’s no menu, each parameter has a knob which makes it super fun to play coz you get what you see, and each strip can have an inserted effect pedal (to name a few of its features). I wrote the chord progression beforehand in Ableton and imported the 4 MIDI loops, 1 for each strip, into a Pyramid project (as the project is controlled by it). I added 3 pedals to the strips which you can’t see in the video: the main lead is pimped with the Big Sky from Strymon, the pad lead is doubled with a delay effect and there is a second instance of the lead sound which is washed out by another reverb pedal. The bass pad is effect free. I'm still learning to perform this beast and I made some mistakes but I hope still you gonna like it ;D

I got it like 8 weeks ago and I can already tell you that it was a very good choice and a perfect addition to my (Elektron-ish) setup. This is the last jam that I recorded during my holidays in the Cantone of Valais in Switzerland (checkout the other ones here and here). The track creation started with a simple bassline that I modulated using the trig lock slide sequencer of the Analog Rytm. I think it's a super powerful way to get more parameters in movement than it would actually be possible with the LFO only (there is 1 per track available).

It's beein a while since I released some samples but here's finally another free pack for you :) This collection was created exclusively for my 1 hour live performance "Dust" (2021). The original idea behind these mostly looped samples was to create them fast! A neighborhood with electronic musicians à gogo - we live in paradise! Wunderkammer presents six electronic musicians from our Zurich neighborhood - a band, two live electronic musicians and a DJ.
