Welcome to Thursday's Synthjam! This week, I wanted to dive deeper into house moods and here's the result. This track is titled "Forget his Song" and I think it really shines when it comes to the groove pattern here. The track uses once more multiple LFOs to modulate the background texture FX parameters (Bitrate, Send Delay, HPF Delay) at very low speeds to create some ever evolving sounds. The track will be releases on my artist profiles, stay tuned.

It's time for Big Ambient Moods! The Big Sky reverb from Strymon is a Pedal in a class of it's own. Reverbs are just superb! And I totally looooove reverbs! In this track, I'm generating a very deep ambience texture with the Model:Samples, which is routed through the Big Sky and then into the Digitakt. The reverb algorithm is "Cloud" with a very small diffusion setting. It gives the whole texture a nice granulation. Happy Easter guys! This week I'm a little late with my Jam but I still hope you gonna like it. This arrangement was meant to be a demonstration of a new sample pack I'm currently working on, with an idea of a very reduced Micro Set. But once again it ended in something completely different ... the gear really seduces me. Not sure what do think about, maybe you can tell me. For this session, I used the #Digitakt, #Digitone, #ModelSamples and the #NovationPeak, I think you can clearly hear the part of the Peak :) For my next Jams, I will fully go for the Digitakt again and create something very different. Btw. I titled the track "Resonance". The samples I wanted to try out were made using resonances, but well I don't use them but I didn't change the name of the track LOL. More on this soon. The combination of my new Elektron Model:Samples and the Digitakt turns out to be very efficient for my musical process! With this extended setup, I started to separate the beat & instrument creation parts by having "beat sessions" where I only jam around making beats witout further instruments first. And then, in a separate session, I plug it into the Digitakt and start adding basslines, pads etc. Idkw, but this method is really inspiring! This track runs at 110bpm and I titled it "Calm down!" as it is a pretty relaxed chillout house track with a little dub flavor. I don't use the Digitakt's Loopback feature on this song - instead, I kick in some spontanous delay shots here and there. I love the woody percussion track in particular, it's so groovy!

I'm currently working on a couple of collabs and they are all Digitakt based. This little groovy Digitakt jam is one of them, it got pretty minimalistic and I love the groove that all elements create together. While my previous jams made heavy use of Midi Loopbacks and effect modulation, I wanted to go back to a much more minimalistic style with less effects in this pattern.

OK Guys, yesterday I celebrated the release of our project "Garages" with my friend Atlas Castle - this collaborative and minimal EP will be released on 29.1. and all 4 tracks on it were made completely with the Digitakt. Boy that's really exciting! The release will be accompanied by a streaming event on Jan 31. Until then there is still some time left, which I would like to sweeten with a new jam. At the turn of the year I completely cleaned up my Digitakt. The storage of the +Drive was filled so I backed up all data and deleted the samples. Only one new sample pack is on it now, and this track was created exclusively with it. I can't say much about the pack yet, but I think the track speaks for itself! I hope you like it!
